I didn't know just how much Americans enjoy cooking with heavy cream until I gained exclusive access to a secret Instant Pot Facebook group. Each night, members tap into the group's hive mind to brainstorm dinner ideas based on the ingredients that they typically have on hand. Heavy cream (or cream of something) almost always makes an appearance.
My newsfeed is filled with more creamy recipe inspiration than high school friends' engagement photoshoots. (I highly recommend joining this IP Facebook group if you would like to shift your algorithm to something less depressing). Cream sauce > everlasting love. Amirite?
